The varsity boys soccer team faced off Highland on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 8. The intense game ended with a final score of 1-0. The boys once again had made another successful victory defeating the Highland Trojans.
“We did fantastic. I think we played our maximum performance and we all did the best we could,” Christopher Baranowski (10) said.
Even with the few fouls that were called on them during the first half of the game and how neither of the teams scored a goal during this time, the boys continuously played to their best abilities to defeat the Trojans.
“We possessed the ball, we all did our own job,” Diego Ruiz-Avila (9) said.
The boys finally left the field with the title of winning the game and advancing into the championship and now the team will compete in the championship game which will take place Saturday Oct. 11.
