Tabitha Pappas, Author

Finals can be one of the most stressful parts of the school year. It makes it even harder when you have a holiday break coming up and all you want to do is be with family and eat sweets. Many students are trying to figure out a successful way to study and prepare for their exams. Different study strategies work for different people but here are a few do’s and don’ts to help you reach success.

Do’s    -plan ahead

-set reachable goals

-start studying as soon as possible

-fill out any study guides given

-use study groups

-study in 30-minute intervals

-eat healthy and drink water to stay energized

-stay positive and confident

Don’ts   -don’t skip review days

-don’t stress eat

-don’t procrastinate

-don’t stress out

-don’t study too much

-don’t under estimate yourself

-don’t cram the night before or have all-nighters

Good luck on your finals and I hope these pointers help.
