Q:  How did you get started with your music?

A: Well, growing up I’ve always wanted to know how to play guitar and be in a band. It was all about music, music and music. I got a guitar and fourth grade and told people I knew how to play when I actually didn’t. So my mom got me guitar lessons in sixth grade. It was the start of my dream.

Q: Which artists do you try to relate your music to?

A: I’m into the hard rock scene, sort of on the edge of metal. I do acoustic too, but [rock] is my main basis.  I like band like Stone Sour, Athel. I write a lot of my music sort of like Avenged Sevenfold. For acoustic I like Jason Mraz, John Mayer and base [my music] around there.

Q: Do you like to play covers, or do you play original music?

A: I do have quite a few originals, but when I play a show I usually alternate. The covers range from Bon Jovi to Oasis to Blink-182. Music along those lines. I do a lot of covers at acoustic shows, but electric shows have more original type stuff.
