“The Age of Adaline” is a romantic drama starring Blake Lively as the main character, Adaline. Adaline gets into a serious car accident that is anything but fatal, as she develops the inability to age due to the phenomenon.

Adaline is targeted by the FBI for testing, but manages to escape. Following that, she changes her identity every 10 years, while she watches her daughter, Flemming, grow old. Adaline later falls in love with Ellis, played by Michiel Huisman, a man who learns of her mysterious life and her inability to age.

“The Age of Adaline” calls upon the concept of morality and what people are doing with the time they have. It also features a typical romantic plotline and certainly generates some emotions about Adaline having to watch her own child grow old as she remains youthful.

Although this would not be the best date-night movie, it is great if you want to sit down, cry and fall in love.
