On the rainy day of May 20, boys golf played and lost to the Crown Point team with a final score of 13-20.
“Yesterday was full of up and down moments, but in the future, I am going to always focus on the ups, always working to improve mental attitude on the course. In golf, it is always important to play with a positive outlook,” Nicholas Good (11) said.
Though the boys’ loss was not preferred, the team is still taking some good from the bad. The senior golfers reflected upon their years of being part of the team and value the lessons that they have learned from it.
“[Golf] has taught me to have honesty and integrity in every situation I am put in. It has developed my leadership skills,” Ryan Dahlkamp (12) said.
The next golf meet will be on May 23 at 1 p.m. at the Palmira Golf Course in St. John, Ind.
