Studying for tests and quizzes is a tough activity that students are obligated to do. However, studying was made easy by using flashcards to memorize the topics being tested..

Countless students struggle to find an effective way of studying for tests and quizzes. However, by following a few simple tips, students can study in ways that will help them make better grades.

1. Find a quiet, comfortable place to study that is distraction-free, such as a desk. Avoid studying on a bed, because you can get too comfortable and fall asleep.

2.Stay focused and energized. Snack on healthy foods such as fruit or trail mix. Remember to drink water to stay hydrated as well.

3.Don’t procrastinate by studying the night before. Instead start studying a few days before. Study the most difficult content first, then work toward the easier content.

4. Study in twenty-minute increments. After every twenty minutes, take a five-minute break to relax, stretch or check your phone.

5. Use flashcards, acronyms, songs or rhymes to help learn and remember topics. Another helpful trick is to pretend you are teaching the topic to someone else, which can help determine what you do and do not know about the topic.

6. Don’t worry too much. Get plenty of sleep the night before the test and eat a healthy breakfast to charge your brain. Receiving an satisfying grade on the test will be worthwhile, and you can pride yourself in knowing that you took the time to study.
