On Monday, Sept. 28, the girls volleyball teams faced off against Bishop Noll. The varsity team came out strong, dominating the first two sets.
“I got some amazing terminators on this team from Julia Kruzan [12] to [Jacqueline] Eader [12] to [Victoria] Gardenhire [12]. I thought they were all on fire tonight. [Stephanie Spigolon (12)] did a great job directing the offense and we dug a lot of balls tonight,” Coach Tina Tinberg said.
The third set was a back-and-forth battle for control of the ball, but LC eventually claimed victory.
“I thought it was a total team effort. We’ve got girls firing from all locations and we really looked cohesive tonight,” Coach Tinberg said.
The girls ended the night winning all three sets, 25-13, 25-13 and 25-19. They went on to play the “Bump Out Cancer” game Sept. 29.
