With the wrestling season quickly approaching, the anticipation is building as people begin to wonder what kind of year the boys will have. The team’s personal outlook is positive.
“I think were going to have a good season. We have a strong team and good individuals,” Matthew Lechowicz (11) said.
With a constant struggle against Munster during sectionals, the team is anxious to meet with them again. However, they are confident that their hard work will pay off this year.
“We lost to them last year. It was pretty close, but we have a good chance of winning sectionals [this year],” Gelen Robinson (10) said.
Although the boys have their eyes on Munster, right now the main focus is improvement and performance in every match.
“The coaches are pushing us really hard. They want to make us better. I’m not going to worry about my opponents. I’m just going to go out and wrestle my match,” Lechowicz said.
