Q: How do you think your overall cheerleading performance went?

A: I think our actual performance was really good, but I was kind of disappointed that we got third instead of first or second because we worked really hard.

Q: Is there anything you could have done better?

A: We could’ve fixed the pyramid a little bit, but there was a lot of energy, and [we put] everything out on the mat. I think overall it was one of our best performances.

Q: How do you feel about the outcome?

A: I really wish we would have got first or at least second.

Q: What were some of your strong points in the routine?

A: Our energy and our tumbling [were] solid.

Q: What were some weak points in the routine?

A: Our pyramid [was weak]. There was [also] one mishap with our first stunt.

Q: How did the teams in the state competition compare to other teams at other competitions?

A: The teams were better at state than our other competitions.

Q: How do you think your team being close affected your overall performance?

A: We did a lot of team bonding these past few weeks and that definitely brought us a lot closer.

Q:What do you have to focus on to win your next competition?

A: We need to be consistent and work a little bit harder at our practices [to win our next competition].
