Friday, Nov. 6, Ms. Cyndi Hurley, Business, took 80 students to Chicago for a fashion field trip. The students spent the day learning about the Merchandise Mart and shopping at the Water Tower Place. The students were split up into groups and had the opportunity of looking at the different stores’ displays.

“My favorite part about this field trip was seeing the different types of patterns, clothings and different types of brands that the stores choose from,” Dasia Lockett (11) said.

A lot of the students enjoyed spending their Friday in Chicago learning all about fashion and merchandise.

“It was really exciting to see what some of the stores had on display in the Merchandise Mart.  There wasn’t as much as I thought there would be, but I loved spending my Friday in Chicago, shopping and learning about fashion,” Sky Martens (11) said.
