A victory of 33-19 against Munster was not satisfying enough for the freshman Lady Indians as they strove toward greatness on Monday, Dec. 14 at home.
“[We need to improve on] passing as a team and communication by talking more. We could’ve done better and kept the score down, but for the most part, I think the team plays well together,” Gabriella Hay (9) said.
With their goals in mind, the girls wanted to play great. Luckily, the season is just beginning, leaving plenty of room to make improvements on their skills.
“We ran through our defense and offense [to prepare for the game], but I think we could’ve won by a lot more. [I like] making everything run smoothly during games,” Alayna Hand (9) said.
The other half of the freshman team will battle Griffith on Tuesday, Dec. 15, offering them another chance to show everybody what they are made of.
