The tennis season is getting ready to start and Wednesday, March 9, was the tennis call out meeting. Tryouts will be on March 15, at 2:30 p.m. at the courts if the weather is nice, or at the fieldhouse.
“To prepare for tryouts I’m going to hit this weekend and hopefully keep my skills strong for Monday’s and Tuesday’s tryouts,” Mariah Meyer (9) said.
The tennis season will begin on March 16, with its first practice at 2:45. A parents meeting will be held on March 17 at 6 p.m. in room C115.
“[My] hope [for] this season, if I make the team, [is that] I get stronger skills and become a better player physically and mentally by the end of the season. I [will be] excited to finally be a part of a team and hopefully make some new friends,” Meyer said.
After tryouts, students will know if they made it or not. Only 24 students will be on the team.
