Q: What events do you run?
A: I run the 800 [meter] and the 1600 [meter].
Q: What are your strengths?
A: I’m better at speed than I am at distance. That’s why I do better in the 800.
Q: What are your weaknesses?
A: [My weakness] is long distance. It is hard for me to get my endurance up.
Q: How is the season going?
A: It’s going pretty well. We have a meet today and we are starting our outdoor season today.
Q: Why did you join track?
A: I did it in middle school, so I wanted to continue my career.
Q: What are some events in track?
A: There are sprints which are the 100 and 200. There are field events which are pole vault and long jump. There are long distance events which are the 800 and two mile.
Q: What are you looking forward to this year?
A: I’m looking forward to running my best and going along with the team.
Q: What are the team’s goals?
A: [The team’s goals are] to get to State. We want to get at least top 10 at State.
