Q: How long have you been playing baseball for?
A: I started playing officially when I was five for T-ball. I was always watching my older brother play. I always mimicked my brother when he would play.
Q: What travel team do you play for?
A: I play for the Indiana Chiefs.
Q: What are some of your strengths?
A: I’m a pretty good hitter, I can run pretty fast and I can throw a baseball with both hands.
Q: What are you some of your weaknesses?
A: I’m getting used to the outfield and I’m working hard at getting better at it. I’ve [also] been working hard to make my swing better.
Q: What are you most excited for this season?
A: I’m most excited for the end of the season and the playoffs, especially Sectionals. Hopefully we can win Sectionals.
Q: Do you plan on playing baseball in college?
A: Yes, if a college wants me I would love to play.
Q: What made you want to start playing?
A: Watching my brother [really motivated me].
Q: What are your favorite aspects of the game?
A: I love how it’s different than all the other sports, there’s not really anything like it. All of the other sports have a simple goal to get a point, but with baseball you don’t need a home run to get a point or get ahead in the game [you can move base by base or steal].
