Q: How many years have you been involved in theater?
A: [I have been involved in theater for] nine or 10 [years].
Q: How many shows have you done throughout your theatre career?
A: [I have been in] 34, auditions for the 35th show are tonight.
Q: What are some memorable shows you have been in and where?
A: I was Eddie Ryan in Do Black Patent Shoes Really Reflect Up? at The Towle Theater. I was J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at LCTG in Cedar Lake and Sebastian in The Little Mermaid [at Lake Central].
Q: What shows did you do over the summer?
A: I was in Clue the Musical at LCTG in Cedar Lake, and I was Mr. Boddy. Then I did Assassins at CPCT, which is in Crown Point, and that was when they needed a replacement two weeks before the show, so they called me.
Q: Do you plan to further your career in performing after high school?
A: Yes, in college, then after that.
Q: Where do you plan to attend college?
A: I have a lot of dream schools, the biggest one being Northwestern University.
Q: What is your favorite thing about acting?
A: [My favorite thing about acting is] getting into someone else’s skin and understanding them.
Q: What inspired you to do theatre?
A: Me and my cousins, when we were younger, used to put on little plays in our basement for our parents, and that’s kind of where it started, then it just progressed.
Q: Is theater your only extra curricular?
A: Yes, I’m too busy to do anything else.
