From the first line of color guards to the very last tuba player, the Lake Central Marching Band graced the Dyer Fest Parade on Sunday, June 11, with a synchronized, practiced and harmonic performance. The heat did not let up for the marching band, but thankfully band members’ parents were there to provide water to the band members as they took breaks between playing. Bystanders cheered “Go LC” as the sounds of the band began at Bibich Elementary School and were carried all the way to the end of the parade at Kahler Middle School.
