Q: You started off dressing for varsity your freshman year, what was that like for you?
A: I was shocked because there were seven seniors and there was a lot of talent on the team that year.
Q: Do you think that was an advantage looking back on it now that you’re a junior? Do you think that experience helped you at all?
A: Yeah, I think it helped me and prepared me more to go on varsity my sophomore year.
Q: What’s it like being a student athlete? Is it a challenge for you?
A: Yeah, it’s hard to keep up with all of the school work.
Q: What are ways you’ve been able to overcome that challenge and balance your school work and sport?
A: We usually do school work on the bus rides to away games and before home games.
Q: Do you ever wish you had more free time doing your season?
A: Yeah, I wish I had more free time to balance my school work and volleyball season better.
Q: When you do have free time, what do you like to do in that time?
A: I like to hang out with friends.
Q: Do you plan to move forward with volleyball after high school?
A: Yeah, I plan on going to college to play volleyball.
Q: Is there anything you dislike about your sport at times?
A No, I don’t dislike anything, other than losing.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about playing volleyball?
A: My favorite thing is getting to play with my friends.
