Accompanied by her family, pitching coach and high school coach, Bridget Boyle (12) officially committed to the University of Illinois at Chicago.
“I’m excited and relieved that I’m all done and decided [with my commitment],” Boyle said.
Achieving the title of an NCAA Division One softball player was a feat, but Boyle’s athleticism helped her throughout the way and will continue to assist her as her UIC season begins.
“[I start practicing and conditioning] as soon as school starts,” Boyle said.
Between now and then, Bridget serves as one of the pitching threats in the DAC Conference. With all of Boyle’s undertakings, her parents could not be more pleased with their daughter’s accomplishments.
“We’re very proud of her. She’s worked very hard at this,” Patty Boyle, Bridget’s mother, said.
Even with the congratulations and excitement, the journey has only begun for the newly born NCAA Division One player.
