On Monday Nov. 20, the boys JV basketball team played against Andrean and won 43-30.

The team was able to play very well on offense and build on what they had last year.

“I think the biggest thing we wanted to improve from last is playing smarter basketball and not turning the ball over as much,” Mark Mileusnic (9) said.

The team was very satisfied with their performance in this game.

“I think the team played amazing we got shots down and moved the ball,” Mileusnic (9) said.

Even though they were able to win there is still a lot of room for improvement especially because it is the beginning of the season.

“Our weakness was not helping out on defense and letting some easy layups come by and boxing out,” Mileusnic (9) said.

The boys next game is Saturday, Nov. 25 at South Bend Washington.

“I expect our team to get better as a whole and keep on improving,” Joshua Graziano (11) said.
