With only one loss this season to Chesterton, the Varsity Boys Baseball team was ready for revenge as it faced Chesterton once again.
“We battled. It was our second game against [Chesterton], and we were excited to play them again,” Alec Olund (10) said.
After the team’s only loss this season, the Boys knew they had to change their game plan.
“We knew we were a better team than [Chesterton], and we wanted to show them how good we really were,” Olund said.
The Boys proved their ability to beat Chesterton with a final score of 8-1.
“It felt good to beat the team that knocked us off. We always have that in the back of our heads- knowing that they took the only loss this season,” Taylor Lehnert (12) said.
The Boys continue on to Sectionals this weekend, where they will get the chance to prove themselves once again.
