After two years in the making, Bazzi finally released his debut album, “Cosmic” on April 12. His hit single “Mine,” which grew its popularity from a Snapchat filter, featured on Billboard Top 100 and has over 12 million streams is featured on his album. His other three singles, “Beautiful,” “Why” and “Gone” are also included on the 16-track album.
“Cosmic” contains no collaborations on it, showing what Bazzi has to offer to the music industry. The album contains slow R&B tones mixed with upbeat pop rhythms, and that can appeal to many people’s music tastes. Many songs on the album focus on Bazzi’s past relationships and problems with girls, rising to his popularity and how he has dealt with all the fame. His album contains many different emotions and situations so people can relate to what he was feeling at that moment.
Bazzi will be opening up for Camila Cabello on her sold out “Never Be The Same Tour” and will be in Chicago on April 22. He will also be performing at Lollapalooza this summer on Sunday, Aug. 5.
