For most teenagers, B96 is a staple to any radio lineup. Every year this iconic radio station hosts two large concerts, The Summer Bash and The Winter Bash.
“The atmosphere is probably the biggest difference. The summer bash is usually more open and wild. The jingle bash is more intimate,” Savannah Curatolo (12) said.
The Jingle Bash is usually at the Allstate Arena and the home of the Summer Bash is always Toyota Park.
“There is not a bad seat in the house,” Curatolo said about Toyota Park.
Both concerts are filled with top-charting artists that perform some of their hit songs.
“I like the Summer Bash better because it usually has better artists and it’s obviously in the summer, so you don’t have to worry about school or anything the next day,” Curatolo said.
Even though the concerts seem to be very different both are usually very popular to most listeners of the common radio station.
