Q:How was your winter break overall?
A:It was really fun and interesting and I had many fun experiences.
Q:What was the highlight? What did you like doing the best?
A:I went on a cruise to the Caribbean and we left from Miami, FL, so we stayed there for a day before and two days after. We went to three different islands and saw many different kinds of people and culture.
Q:What would you have liked to do but didn’t?
A:I would have liked to go ziplining in Haiti, but I didn’t because I was kind of scared. I regret that now.
Q:Was it difficult for you to get back to school?
A:Yes, [it was very hard for me to get back to school] because I missed finals week and I had to come back after school and take my finals.
Q:What was the worst part of your winter break?
A:Studying for finals [was the worst part of my winter break].
Q:Did you hang out with any friends?
A:Yes I did hang out with friends.
Q:Did you do anything with family members?
A:Yes [I did do things with my family]. My cousin and I got together a lot over the break. We went shopping a lot.
Q:Did you set any goals for 2019? If so, what were they?
A:Yes, I set the goal to be better at playing the flute and improve a lot this year. I also want to get better grades.
Q:Did you have any homework assigned for the break?
A:Yes, [I had homework over the break]. I had to study for my finals and Jeffrey Sherman(math teacher) gave us some math homework.
Q:How did your sleep schedule change? What did you do to get back on schedule?
A:Over the break, I woke up at 12 p.m. and I went to sleep at 3 a.m. I did get back on schedule by waking up really early the day before we had school, but I got tired really easily.
