Review: Riverdale


Riverdale is show on the CW that also appears on Netflix. It is about murder mystery and romance appropriate for young adults. The television series currently has 3 seasons and still have plans for future episodes.

Netflix is home to many shows and movies for everyone to enjoy. Riverdale is one of the most popular shows on it. The show is targeted toward teens and young adults. Riverdale includes a series of mysteries and romances between the characters which showcases the show’s maturity.

Riverdale is set in a small town in New York. It starts out with a character being murdered and the main character, Archie Andrews, played by KJ Apa, trying to solve who did it. Alongside the journey, he and his friends Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones and Veronica Lodge, played by Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse and Camila Mendes, respectively, meet new people and develop feelings toward each other.

Riverdale has won multiple awards such as Best Action/Thriller Television Series, Favorite TV Drama and Best Production Design in a Dramatic Series. With outstanding costumes, amazing actors and elaborate story lines, Riverdale has won over 20 awards.

Each episode of Riverdale is based on a movie. The creators use movies such as “The Outsiders”, “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Hills Have Eyes” to determine the storyline of the television series.

Riverdale, in my opinion, is a great drama to watch any day. The storyline is very deep and interesting. I like how the show is full of mystery and romantic interests.
