On May 9, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber released “I Don’t Care,” their first song together. Sheeran and Bieber also came out with a music video for the song. There is a black and white lyric video and a music video that Sheeran and Bieber are both present in.

This song is Sheeran’s first release since his 2016 “Divide” album. Sheeran also helped write “Love Yourself,” which was released by Justin Bieber.  Bieber conquered the summer of 2017 with his single “Despacito”. He might just do it again with this new single “I Don’t Care.”

The music video they released has a summer vibe to it. There is no real theme or story to it. Sheeran and Bieber are dressed in a panda and a bee costume and sing their song while the backgrounds change and are all kinds of different themes.

Their song is Number two on the billboard charts right under “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. Sheeran and Bieber released this song in hopes to make it to the top charts for the summer months. With summer being right around the corner and “I Don’t Care” being number two on the charts, it seems that Sheeran and Bieber have a chance to reach number one on the charts as the summer months pass.
