Q&A: Angie Mansour (10)

Q: When did you start playing tennis?

A: I started playing tennis when I was in eighth grade.

Q: What made you want to play tennis?

A: My friends and I wanted to have an after school activity and it turned into a passionate hobby.

Q: Why do you like tennis?

A: I like tennis because it’s such a fun sport to play and I’m actually not bad at this sport.

Q: How often do you practice?

A: Well, during season we practice everyday.  Off season, I practice at least twice a week

Q: How do you plan on getting better?

A: I plan on getting better by just keep practicing and working out more.

Q: What is the best and worst thing about tennis?

A: The best thing about tennis would have to be the moment when you get a great corner shot in a match and they can’t return.  The worst this is when you receive a corner shot and can not return it.

Q: Did you ever have difficulty with a skill that is so easy now?

A: Yes.  My back hand.

Q: Do you plan on doing tennis next year?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you have advice for wannabe tennis players?

A: My advice would be to have fun and if you lose just brush.  Tennis is such a fun sport and always be supportive with you teammates.

Q: How was this years girls tennis season?

A: This year season was one of the best season because we almost had an undefeatable DAC season and overall it was fun with the supportive teammates.
