The Varsity Girls Golf team went against Crown Point last Monday, coming out on top with a score of 170-176 at Youche Country Club. Despite the heat, the girls still gave it their all and came out with a victory.
“I liked playing with my opponent because I have played with her a few times before, so it’s not awkward talking to each other. I would say that everyone liked who they played with,” Amanda Blais (11) said.
The girls will have one more match this week, and then they have matches up until their Sectionals start.
“We are all really supportive of each other,” Blais said.
The girls are always determined, and at their next match, Sept. 4 against Chesterton, they hope to do just as well.
