The girls varsity volleyball team took a loss on Tuesday September 17th against Chesterton. They played hard, but in the end came up short.
“I think we just needed to be more intense, and since we had beat them before, we were a little over confident,” Josephine Binette (12) said.
The girls believe they are having a good season and they hope to redeem themselves against Portage on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
“It’s my senior year, so of course I’m excited. Everyone works so hard for it all to pay off senior year, but I honestly think we are a really strong team and that we can go far,” Binette said.
After their loss, the girls know what they need to do and have high hopes about this season.
“I think that we just have to find our aggression and intensity to pull out some more wins,” Binette said.
