Review: The Mandalorian season 2
January 4, 2021
One of the hottest shows on Disney Plus, The Mandalorian, recently aired its second season on Nov. 12, 2020. The show quickly reached the top of the charts on Disney Plus, and will be releasing new episodes every Friday.
Set in the Star Wars universe, The Mandalorian follows a mandalorian bounty hunter who came across a being that he’s never seen before. At first, the mandalorian is skeptical to help the helpless child, but soon he creates a bond with him, and does whatever he can to protect the child and bring it back to its people. Throughout the plot, the child is constantly being hunted by the empire and is either to be captured dead or alive.
Every episode in the show has a different quest that the mandalorian and child run into. Sometimes the quests go as planned, and other times things go drastically wrong. Because of the constant variety, the show promotes viewers to come back each week and watch a new episode to find out what the mandalore and the child are going through.
Personally, I think the show is very well written, and it constantly grasps your attention with different types of star wars lore that the movies never really offered. And to add to that, the show is so different than any other show that it’s sure to bring interests to different types of audiences. If you haven’t already seen The Mandalorian, I would highly recommend watching it.
