   Both of Lake Central’s jazz band groups, in addition to the freshmen-only Symphonic Band, have their first performances of the year on Thursday, Oct. 14.  Parents of band members appeared to watch the event, which included solo performances by Tyler Sharkey (12) and Landon LaRue (10).
