The divers competed against Merrillville High School on Dec. 4th at a home meet. In all six rounds, they had high scores for the dives, bringing them on top of their competitors.
“They didn’t do bad [at this meet], but they didn’t do good either,” Coach Tommy Silbka said.
Abigail Prince (11), two year varsity diver, earned the highest scores and kept the team in the lead.
“I feel like I did okay, because it wasn’t my highest score, but I definitely did better than [I did at] my last meet,” Prince said.

Although they compete individually, the team works together to earn their best scores and beat the opposing team.
“We are all teammates, we work together because our scores add up as a whole,” Prince said.
