The JV boys racked up another W last night by squeaking one out against Crown Point by a score of 37-34.
“We did a nice job of limiting their dribble penetration. It was a good win against a good team,” Coach Andrew Locke said.
Though coaches tend to mark conference games on the calendar in dark, red Sharpie, some players are more comfortable with bringing the same mindset night in and night out.
“It being a rivalry game made it no different than any other game. I want to win every game,” Amir Ransom (10) said.
Alexander Nisle (10), who also dressed for the varsity game on Friday night, scored 18 of the Indians’ 37 points and was a major factor in the team’s victory.
“I found success by driving to the basket and getting into transition. I can answer whatever someone throws at me,” Nisle said.
The boys square off against another DAC rival this week. They will play the Chesterton Trojans on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
