On Thursday, April 11, The boys golf team went to Palmira Golf Course to play a match against Highland and Munster.
“We definitely could have done better, since it was at our home course,” Matthew Meneghetti (11) said.
The weather on Thursday was both rainy and cold, but this factor did not play a role in stopping the boys from going out and doing their best.
“Your muscles kind of stiffen up so it’s hard to swing smoothly, and it’s harder to make good ball contact,” Rhett Barker(11) said.
At the end of the day, Lake Central beat Highland and Munster.
“We just didn’t play well. We’ll straighten out, and we’ll start killing it. We’re only about 5 percent through the season,” Jonathan Gross(12) said.
The next golf match will be held on Saturday April 20 at 10 a.m.
