On Friday, April 12, the Choir department got a big surprise: a new mahogany 22’ grand piano.
“A former student’s uncle enjoyed our concerts and told his family that when he dies, he wanted us to have the piano. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer this year,” Ms. Sandy Hobbs, Choir said.
Hobbs took the students in choir to see the piano on Friday and the following Tuesday.
“I’ve heard somebody play it and honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful pianos I’ve seen. The nicest piano I’ve seen is nothing compared to that one,” Marisa Repasi (11) said.
