The Indians kept their momentum flowing following their win over Munster last week. On Friday night, LC hosted the East Chicago Cardinals for their first home game of the season.
The football team pummeled the Cardinals in a crushing 64 to 8 victory.In a pass to Dylan Morang (12) from David Yancey (11), Lake Central scored the first points of the game.
After the first touchdown, LC continued to score again and again with another pass from Yancey to Morang, and Yancey rushing for two touchdowns. By halftime LC led 51 to 0.
East Chicago managed to put 8 points on the board in the third quarter. The game ended in a 64 to 8 victory over the Cardinals. Support the team next Friday night when they take on another tribe, the Portage Indians, at home. The night will double as a teacher appreciation night.
