Fashion classes travel to Rosemont
December 5, 2013
On Nov. 20, 32 students from the Fashion Marketing classes traveled to Rosemont, Chicago for a field trip. The students went to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago to experience fashion first-hand.
“It was a good experience. We were able to learn about fashion from experienced people and were able to actually see how fashion marketing works,” Michelle Saulters (12) said.
Throughout the day, students were able to shop at the outlets and create different looks. Mrs. Cyndi Hurley, Business, accompanied her students on the field trip.
“The field trip was fun because we got to see different aspects of fashion marketing while enjoying the shopping experience,” Nicole Stegenga (12) said.
With the field trip being a success, Fashion Marketing will continue taking field trips like this one in years to come.

What an amazing and fun opportunity! I’m sure Chicago is the hub of fashion these days. Good to see that students are getting hands on experience.
