Claire Madon, Comet Staffer

Hi! My name is Claire Madon and this is my second year in publications. I look forward to ending my senior year with some fun memories with all my classmates! I loved magazine last year and I am excited to be in this class again!

Listening attentively, the audience follows along on the notes printed for the meeting. Along with College Board, students and parents were provided other tools such as Naviance for college preparation. “All students have Naviance accounts set up and they can access it through the LCHS homepage. Naviance has many helpful tools for both college and career planning. Scholarship information is also available on Naviance. Students who become familiar with Naviance before their senior year will be able to better utilize the resources provided,” Ms. Ginger Marinkovinch (Guidance) said.

Typing on her computer, Katie Poncin comments on the topic. She has been the secretary of Student Council for two years. “My position in Student Council is secretary. I had to run for the position and do a speech at the beginning of the year. Basically, a secretary takes notes at every meeting, so people can reference them at later meetings. I also read meeting minutes, usually, at every meeting, but not always,” Poncin (11) said.
