Leading by a score of 11-0 in the fifth, a feeling of adrenaline filled the air at the DAC volleyball match against LaPorte.

After losing the first game, the Indians came back to win the second and third.

“The first loss was really hard because we were in it the entire game, but when we came back from a ten point deficit, the momentum lead us to win the match,” Kelsey Doyle (12) said.

The momentum shift allowed the girls to have their first win over LaPorte in seven years.

“This year was our chance and we embraced it. The feeling was absolutely incredible. We need to carry our intensity to the future matches,” Julianne Epperson (11) said.

The girls took a victory with the score of 3-2.
