The marching band performed during halftime at the football game this Friday, Aug. 22, alongside Lake Central’s color guard. This year’s show showcases a variety of instruments.
“We have a really cool show this year, it’s [called] Three Hours. We have a lot of brass and woodwind stuff coming up, so it’s going to be awesome,” Neil Buss (11) said.
Band has also strengthened existing friendships and created the building blocks of many new friendships.
“I’ve made a ton of friends; the drum line is like my family,” Buss said.
The band practices every day except Mondays and Sundays and will be participating in their first competition on Saturday Sept. 13.
