Every year around Christmas, the entertainment industry decides to release movies. Into the Woods, was originally a play but was brought to the big screen by director Rob Marshall.
The Into the Woods cast included Meryl Streep as the witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Prince Charming, James Corden and Emily Blunt as the Baker and the Baker’s Wife and Johnny Depp as the Big Bad Wolf.
The cast and movie did a splendid job pulling the audience into its grasps, and surprised the audience by unexpected deaths of favored characters. The singing was continuous and there was no definite end to each one. The opening song was later sung near the end of the movie.
Into the Woods proves to be a well directed and casted movie, as there are Tony nominations and Golden Globe nominations lined up for the movie. The nominations include Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical, Best Actress for Blunt and Best Supporting Actress for Streep.
