Dyanna Munoz (12) volunteers her time to Interact Club by selling carnations. Interact Club has been organized by Mr. Tom Clark, Social Studies.

Students looking for an affordable Valentine’s Day treat to send a friend or significant other can purchase a carnation. The flowers are being sold by Interact Club for $2 dollars each until Tuesday, Feb. 10.

“All the money earned from these sales go towards local charities. The charity for this specific money is still undecided but is going to [a local charity],” David Park (12) said.

The club is sponsored by Mr. Tom Clark, Social Studies, and focuses on helping others and people in the community.

“We do a lot of charity work and try to help out as much as we can. We help with Habitat for Humanity and other organizations along those lines,” Dyanna Munoz (12) said.

Flowers will be delivered Friday, Feb. 13 during seventh hour.
