Nicholas Sparks is well-known for his romantic novels. Many of his works have been turned into movies, including: The Notebook, A Walk To Remember, Dear John, The Last Song, and many more. The most recent book that will be made into a movie is The Longest Ride.
“The Longest Ride” is about two couples who have little in common and are separated by years and experience. Sophia Danko meets a young cowboy named Luke, who bears little resemblance to the privileged frat boys she has encountered at school. Ira Levinson is 90 years old and can only think of his beloved wife Ruth, who passed away nine years ago. Ira and Sophia’s lives, though, will converge with unexpected poignancy, reminding readers that even the most difficult decisions can have extraordinary journeys.
“The Longest Ride” will be turned into a motion picture and will be in theaters on April 10.
