November 11, 2011: the date that happens only once in a century.
Multitudes of students are planning to make a wish at 11:11 p.m. tonight. Before making a wish, everyone should take note about the unfamiliar rules of 11:11.
“I did not know that there were rules about making wishes, but I don’t plan on following them anyway,” Nikolaus Schultz (12) said.
The rules include all of the following: an 11:11 wish must be spontaneous, the wish must be reasonable and specific and there is no looking at the clock before or after to determine how much time before the clock turns to 11:12.
“I usually do not make a wish every night because I usually miss it. If I happen to look up at the clock and it is 11:11, I might make a wish, but it’s not very often,” Emily Paganelli (12) said.
Are you planning on following the rules?
