After two days of staying after school for three hours, the LC Boys Basketball team was determined for the 2011-2012 season.

“It wasn’t as difficult as conditioning, but it was still tiring,” Christopher Tuskan (10) said.

To determine the placing on the team, the boys ran many drills to test their skills, but in the end, 38 out of 65 boys made the cut for the freshman, JV, and varsity teams. Eighteen boys made the freshman team, and 20 made it between JV and varsity. In each game, 10 varsity boys will dress, and two JV will come up to varsity to complete the 12 dressing for that game.

“[The hard work] is worth it. You get to play in a gym full of people cheering. It’s awesome,” Tuskan said.

Coach David Milausnic thinks that this year LC will have a good season.

“The kids have been working hard. We’re getting better everyday,” Milausnic said.
