The JV boys basketball team went up against the Warsaw Tigers on Dec. 11. The game was very close, but the boys pulled through with a win. By the end of the game, the final score was 41-37. There were certain things that they did which they thought helped them win this game.
“[I think the game went] pretty well. Our defense was really good and we communicated a lot. That’s what got us this win,” Jack Davis (9) said.
Just like with any sport or team, the boys thought they had some room for improvement.
“[As a team, we can improve] our offense. [We need to] get more fluent in our plays,” Davis said.
The season started out rough, but with more and more practice, the team is looking better every day.
“We started off with a rough start but then we started getting better at practice and we started trusting each other,” Justin Olesek (10) said.
