The Fourth of July is a great time for fireworks, and Rohrman Park in Schererville, Ind. knows how to put on a show. On July 1, Rohrman Park held a fireworks display that lit up the sky. People from all over the region gathered in the park and watched the fireworks show, which started around 9:30 at night.
“This year, the fireworks were literally lit. It was amazing and fun to watch,” Morgan Grudzien (11) said.
The fireworks display at Rohrman Park is an annual event. The event is popular among students because of its close proximity to Lake Central and the fun atmosphere. The firework display is one of the ways the region celebrates the Fourth of July and helps locals feel more patriotic.
“I thought the firework display was very entertaining and I enjoyed watching it. They included a variety of different fireworks in their show,” Emily Mannino (11) said.
