An Upsetting Loss for Hockey

The Boys Hockey Team played Adam High School at Ice Box 1 in South Bend and was defeated 1-4.
“Overall, that game wasn’t a good game.  We didn’t play to our fullest and we could’ve done a lot better.  A few players took some selfish penalties,” Devin Homans (11) said.
Adam High School’s hockey team is a 3-A team, which is the second highest ranking, with 1-A being the lowest, according to Homans.  The team wants to focus on doing better and getting farther with more wins to make it to State.
“We want to focus on breaking out of our own zone and [making] good use of power play time.  In this season, I’d like for us to take State because last year we made it to semi-finals and this year I think we can take it all the way,” Homans said.
The next game for varsity will be against Hamilton Southeastern High School at home.
