Q: When did you start playing basketball?
A: I started playing when I was four.
Q: How time-consuming is the sport?
A: I practice six days a week, and in the summer I do conditioning to say in shape for the upcoming season.
Q: What’s your favorite part about playing?
A: My favorite part would be all the people I’ve met.
Q: How do you prepare for the games?
A: We play music in the locker room and get hyped up while talking to each other about how good we are going to do in the game.
Q: What is the hardest part about playing?
A: It’s very time-consuming, so it is hard to be able to put in all the time.
Q: Do you play for any other teams besides Lake Central?
A: In the summer I played with a travel team called the Illinois Defenders.
Q: How do your coach and teammates encourage you?
A: They keep me pretty motivated and want me to do better for them as a team.
Q: What made you start playing?
A: My family is big on basketball and sports, so I got put in the sport and stuck with it.
Q: Do you plan to pursue basketball after high school?
A: Yes, I am going to play at IU South Bend.
