BPA Moves Forward

On March 18, Business Professionals of America traveled to Indianapolis to compete in the State competition for three days.

“State was all-around fun because there’s so many people, especially with LC, and it’s great destroying the other teams,” Mufaddal Udaipurwala (12) said.

LC took home over 30 awards, including first place in Integrated Office Applications, Financial Analyst Team, Medical Office Procedures, Data Applications and Small Business Management Team, and 23 qualified to progress to Nationals.

“[As president,] I was ecstatic and proud that I reached my goal of having more National qualifiers than previous years,” Zachary King (12) said.

Nationals will be held on April 25 in Chicago, IL. For some members, this will be the final hurrah in BPA.

“I’m glad to have made [Nationals]. All three years I’ve gone, and I’m happy to end tradition and make a bang,” Keertan Kini (12) said.
