Red Mango. These two words have constantly been plastered by students over social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Since its opening in Highland two months ago, the franchise has managed to win over the hearts of many people in the Tri-town area.

However, do not mistake Red Mango for another ordinary ice cream shop; it is a self-serve service that gives the customer the opportunity to be creative in the creation of their dessert and includes the unique pay by weight concept. A variety of toppings are provided including fresh fruit, chocolate chips, gummy bears, granola and Ghirardelli liquid chocolate. The yogurt itself is all natural, pro-biotic and gluten-free with no artificial preservatives.  Overall, the most popular yogurt flavors chosen by customers are the mango, blueberry and white peach.

Red Mango is located at 10351 Indianapolis Boulevard in Highland, Ind. It is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. During the Memorial Day weekend, the store is extending their closing time until 11 p.m. Now is the time to go out and get a taste of the craze everyone has been talking about!
